Filleth all in all
In his letter to the local church of Ephesus, Paul writes about the church of the Lord that it "is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all" (Eph. 1:23).
I have walked towards the eternal kingdom of God with my brothers and sisters in Christ in the church for many years already. I have truly lived what Paul writes about.
The Lord of the church, Jesus Christ, is and works in the church.
The heavenly Father takes care of His children, including me, in the church.
I have received an abundance of spiritual food, that is, the sound and sober teaching of the Bible, in the church.
My brothers and sisters in Christ are in the church.
My friends are in the church.
Life is rewarding when walking in membership of the church.
There is an abundance of meaningful work and tasks, that is, serving the Lord every day of life, more than there is time.
The church, the body of Christ, certainly "filleth all in all".
I neither need nor long for anything else since this is the abundant life, the life Jesus promised to give (John 10:10).
Is this reality in your life already?
